Baptism is rich in meaning, purpose, and symbolism, reflecting the profound spiritual truths of the gospel. When we enter the waters of baptism, we are publicly declaring the message of salvation: that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again to bring us new life. This act is a powerful symbol of our identification with and commitment to Him.

As Paul explains in Romans 6:4, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death.” Going under the water represents being buried with Christ, signifying that we are now dead to the power of sin. Rising up out of the water symbolizes the new life we have in Him—our spiritual resurrection and union with Christ.

Baptism is a visible sign of the inward grace we have received, declaring that we are no longer slaves to sin but have been made alive in Christ Jesus. It’s a beautiful picture of renewal, commitment, and belonging to God’s family.

If the meaning of baptism could be summarized in one word, that would be identification. Baptism in Christian faith speaks primarily of personal, public identification with Jesus Christ.

Baptism is not for salvation. It is an act that signify that you have already confessed your sins, repented – turned from your sins, accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior. After this act of submission baptism is the outward expression of your inward commitment to Him.

If you are interested in being baptized please fill out the form below and someone will reach out to you to facilitate your baptism.

As a church we do not baptize infants. We believe that children must have a relationship with Jesus before they can be baptized. However, we would love to dedicate your younger children and pray over them, as well as you as a parent, dedicating them and you to the Lord. If you are interested in having your child dedicated please fill out the form below.
